General Information

For safety reasons we ask you to please wear your name badge during the conference.

Cloak room
There is a cloak room on the bottom floor of Chalmers Conference Centre.

Credit cards
Commonly accepted credit cards in hotels, restaurants and shops and at the conference registration are American Express, Diners Club, Visa, Master Card and Eurocard. Restaurants and shops generally display signs indicating what cards they accept.

The currency in Sweden is the Swedish Krona, SEK. A currency calculator can be found online at


Neither the Conference Organisers or the Conference Secretariat accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference.

It is strongly recommended that you purchase an insurance policy of your choice as you register for the conference and book your travel. The insurance should be purchased in your country of origin.

The official conference language is English. There will be no simultaneous translation.

Pre-registration will be made available on this website. On the same online registration form, you register for the conference and for the social events.  

The online registration will open in November 2013.

On-site registrations will be accepted but participation in the social events at that time may be severely limited.

Smoking policy
Smoking is not permitted at any time inside the conference venue. Smoking is banned on public transport, in stores, restaurants and pubs. Hotels offer special rooms for non smokers. Please indicate your request on the registration form, when you make your hotel reservation.
